Despite the dull economic climate and global financial credit crunch, CosmoBeautéVietnam 2009, was successfully organised for the 2nd year in the new venue, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center from 23-25 April 2009 which was opened by Mr. Cao Minh Quang, Vice Minister of Health. Mr Cao commented on the exhibition,“CosmoBeaute Vietnam 2009 has truly become a significant and impressive destination for all cosmetics and beauty enterprises, organizations and experts. This has been proved by the significant increased in the number of local and international participations andbrands compared to last year”. The total number of visitors amounted to 5,354 with an increase of 5% as compared to last year. Total number of exhibitors are 118 from 16 countries. | |

Quality Visitors On The Opening Day | |
 Hundreds of visitors assembled before the opening hours and cannot wait to visit on the opening day of CosmoBeauté Vietnam. Project Director , Mr. CP Saw said, "We are very pleased with the quantity and quality of visitors on the first and subsequent days. Supporting his comments, Mr Andre Van Tilburg, Director of Hair Styling Applications S.p.A. “For us the exhibition was a success. We left with a lot of leads and found ourselves a local distributor. Next year we will participate again”. Further testifying to this is, Mr Alex Thomson, Director of Business Development & Sales of Nicogel Sdn Bhd said “The people have been very friendly and helpful. We managed to speak to a lot of local distributors. And hopefully in near future, we will have a lot of growing success with thanks to CosmoBeauté Vietnam.” | |
 1st ever Vietnam Nails Competition with roaring success The First Vietnam Nail Competition organised by Kelly Pang Co Ltd, the well-known nails academy in Vietnam. This first of it kind nails competition attracted more than 1,330 students from Kelly Pang Academy and more than VDN 44 million worth of total prices was offered. Three International judges were flown in for the judging process and they were impressed by the creativity and innovativeness of the Vietnamese contestants. Categories include - Nail Care, Nail Powder & Nail Art. | |
