PRESS RELEASE For Immediate Release

More Than Just an Exhibition, Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 Returns to Bring the Beauty
Industry Ecosystem Together

Tangerang, 14 September 2026 – Indonesia’s cosmetics industry continues to demonstrate strong growth, marked by an increasing number of industry players and products on the market. According to data from the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM), the number of companies in Indonesia’s cosmetics industry increased from approximately 1,500 in 2025 to 1,655 as of July 2026. The number of cosmetic products registered with BPOM has also surpassed 354,000 as of June 2026.

This growth further highlights the need for an increasingly connected industry ecosystem, from access to products and technology, raw materials and formulations, and manufacturing, to knowledge, competencies, and business networks. These developments will once again form the foundation of the 19th edition of Cosmobeauté Indonesia, taking place from 1–3 October 2026 at Hall 5–9, Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 will feature a 25,000-square-metre exhibition area, larger than the previous edition, with more than 600 companies and 1,550 beauty brands from various countries and regions. Beyond expanding the scale of the exhibition, this year’s edition will also offer a broader experience for the 20,000 industry professionals expected to attend, with more than 60 supporting programmes covering business meetings, industry discussions, training sessions, workshops, live demonstrations, competitions, and various awards.

“The growth of Indonesia’s beauty industry creates significant opportunities, but at the same time, it also requires an increasingly connected ecosystem. Through Cosmobeauté Indonesia and the dozens of programmes we are presenting, we aim to bring together different parts of this ecosystem, from brands, manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers to professionals and experts, while providing a space to exchange insights, develop competencies, discover innovations, and build opportunities for collaboration,” said Kristi Wulandari, Deputy Event Director, PT Pamerindo Indonesia.

As a B2B exhibition serving the beauty industry, Cosmobeauté Indonesia continues to focus on creating meaningful business opportunities through Beauté Meeting, a business matchmaking programme tailored to the needs of participants. The programme connects participants with relevant products, technologies, raw materials, and solutions, while providing opportunities to meet suppliers and prospective business partners from various countries. In 2025, Beauté Meeting successfully facilitated 797 business meetings between 436 buyers from six countries, demonstrating Cosmobeauté Indonesia’s potential as a platform for building valuable business connections and opportunities.

Interaction at Cosmobeauté Indonesia extends beyond business meetings. Through Beauté Speak and Supply Chain Academy, visitors can also broaden their understanding of developments shaping the beauty industry, including regulations, scientific advancements, market and consumer trends, digital transformation, and manufacturing. The range of topics presented this year will cover developments across the beauty industry.

The experience extends further into practical learning and skills development through Beautéducation, where participants can take part in seminars, practical training sessions, workshops, and certification programmes covering beauty, nails, hair, aesthetics, fragrance, salon, and spa. The programme will also feature inclusive classes such as Cosmo Inclusive Makeup Class and Cosmo Inclusive Barber Class, providing people with disabilities with opportunities to develop their skills and participate more actively in the beauty industry. These programmes further support a more inclusive and diverse industry ecosystem, with equal opportunities for individuals to grow.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia also provides a platform for industry creativity. Through Beauté Live and Beauté Spot, visitors can experience a range of live demonstrations, makeup and hair shows, discussions, professional competitions, and various awards.
Complementing the overall programme, Cosmobeauté Experience Connect will also be available, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of beauty services directly during the exhibition, from massages and nail art to hair and skin checks, creating a more interactive and comprehensive visitor experience.

At the same time, the expanded scope of Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 is also reflected in the introduction of several new segments that respond to market developments, including Beauty Tech & AI, Ingredients & Formulation, Machinery, Hair Zone, Men’s Products, Dental Aesthetics, Mother & Baby, Senior Wellness, Wellness Solution, and Finished Products.

The breadth of opportunities offered by Cosmobeauté Indonesia is reflected in the experiences of industry professionals who have participated in the exhibition in different capacities, from speakers and buyers to exhibitors. Lizzie Para, Founder & CMO of BLP Beauty, who has regularly attended the exhibition, sees Cosmobeauté Indonesia as a space to discover innovations, formulations, technologies, and new developments in the beauty industry. Hendra Rizki Akbar, Operational & Development Director of PT Panca Nature and a previous Supply Chain Academy speaker, highlights its value in creating business opportunities while facilitating knowledge sharing. Meanwhile, international buyer Hafiza binti Alias, Director of Furqon Wellness Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, sees the diversity of international exhibitors as an opportunity to discover suppliers and business partners through this global-scale platform.

This value is also reflected in the experience of exhibitors such as Elisha A.G., Marketing Export at PT Citrasemesta Asrisejati, who has participated in Cosmobeauté Indonesia for more than five years. “We continue to return because the exhibition attracts a strong mix of visitors and buyers from Indonesia and overseas. We are also very satisfied with the well-curated business matching programme, where buyers are segmented according to their needs,” Elisha shared.

From business opportunities and industry insights to skills development, creativity, and innovation, Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 brings the industry together to learn, engage, and connect. Beyond simply discovering the latest products and technologies, visitors can expand their networks, gain knowledge, develop their competencies, and discover opportunities that can support the growth of their businesses and professional careers.

Cosmobeauté Indonesia 2026 will take place from 1–3 October 2026 at Hall 5–9, ICE BSD City. Visitor registration is now open at https://bit.ly/Reg_CBI2026-WEB
