Shinning Stars seen at the First Cosmobeaute Beauty Unite Gala Dinner x Awards Night

Cosmobeauté proudly acclaimed SUCCESS for the first ever Beauty Unite Gala Dinner x Awards Night held on 3rd March 2017 in JW Marriott, Kuala Lumpur with shining stars from the beauty industry gathered at the red carpet since early evening looking at their utmost gatsby stunning look!

BEAUTY UNITE – Being the first celebration of legacy for the beauty salon businesses in Malaysia and Asia region, this is one of the milestone achieved by Cosmobeauté to gather top and upcoming beauty entrepreneurs, salon owners, aestheticians, beauty practitioners, hair gurus, product distributors, and even aesthetic doctors to meet and reach out to the next level of networking.

Cosmobeauté strongly believe to acknowledge the growth of beauty industry since 1960’s and to contribute back to the industry by encouraging the newcomers and newer generations to continue improve for us to witness the blossoming beauty industry in near future.

Cosmobeauté presented the first ever Cosmobeauté Inspiring People Awards – to award the legendary beauty icons who have made the greatest contribution to the beauty industry since 1960s putting in their sweats and tears, all for the growth of the industry.

“Many newcomer or younger generations may not know the difficult path many piooners have walked through, especially the ups and downs, and since the time when beauty business is not yet be seen and considered as a career with bright future, hence the birth of Cosmobeauté Inspiring People Awards,” said founder of Cosmobeauté, Mr Cp Saw.

Last Friday night was filled with flamboyant performances from Malaysian local Chinese Jazz artist May Mow, newcomer of the Chinese music industry – Celist and not forgetting the young dynamic Malaysian female DJ who are sought after in international music scene – DJ Tiana. It was the first time for all beauty industry icons to let their hair down, having the utmost fun together with everyone as one big family!

“We usually have gathering, event and celebration almost once every month, and this is my first time attending Beauty Unite in Malaysia, and this is amazing! We hope to be here again next year and more to come!” said Mr Joseph Ho, president of The Cosmetic & Perfumery Association of Hong Kong (CPAHK).

Beauty Unite 2017 Inspiring People Award Winners

Prof. Datin Dr Clara L Chee, she has started her own beauty salon in year 1977 as a pioneer in the beauty industry of Malaysia. She produced her own brand of treatment and products by setting up her own laboratory but also highly active in Research & Development for cosmetics and skin care. She also established Clara International Aesthetic College (CIAC) – which is the first aesthetic college recognised as Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi Swaste (IPTS) by Ministry of Higher Education, trained over 10,000 aestheticians and beauticians. Clara International Beauty Group has over 42 branches worldwide.

Madam Stella Cheah, she started Stella-In International – as one of the country’s leading beauty and make up academies, since 30 years ago. Over these past three decades, the academy that she built has produced thousands of highly sought-after aestheticians, aroma therapists, spa therapists, makeup artists, nail artists and beauty consultant. Stella-In was also appointed as the Centre of Excellence for Spa Therapist Training in Malaysia by the Tourism Ministry in 2011. It is also accredited by the Department of Skills Development (under Human Resource Ministry) as well as international certification boards.

Professor Dr Ng Wee Kiong, he was actively providing salon management and skills training since 1980’s to many future beauty salon owners and practitioners. He has always been a Beauty & Health Science speaker as he shared his ideas and knowledge to inspire beauty practitioners to improve their value and professional ethics through various training seminars, symposiums and forums. He also envisions that the Global Beauty Industry will adapt to Beauty International standards and produce new generations with quality culture that leads to better world. Hence, he established the Association of International Certified Aesthetician (AICA) in 2015 which assist in beauty professional efficiencies.

Professor Cheng Ming Ming BBS (Inspiring People Awards), she started her beauty career by establishing her very own beauty academy in year 1966 aiming to uplift the quality of beauticians to international level. She stands as the first who entered the great land of China in 1987 to set up first Hair and Beauty Academy in Beijing. With her full passion in beauty industry, she created embroidery skills for eyebrow, eyeliner and a lip back in 1980’s. Having more than 50 years of experience in the beauty industry, she has also created her own series of cosmetics brands and products, aside from her beauty education business.
