(Saigon, Vietnam) 26 January 2011 –The International Spa Wellness Exhibition & Conference (ISWEC), a premier spa events and professional organisation, held its launch event at Lotus Ballroom at Legend Hotel, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It was an enormous success with more than 80 representatives consisting of spa & wellness managers, directors, owners and executives from over 60 companies, spas and salons including a few dozen editors and journalists from various newspaper organization and magazines.
The International Spa Wellness Exhibition & Conference (ISWEC) launch started off with ECMI organizer C.P. Saw, founder of Cosmobeaute and ISWEC, presenting an opening speech followed by a lecture given by ISWEC Organizing Committee, Mary Darling. An active Q&A session was furnished after to fulfil much of the obvious eagerness and curiosity of the audience.
As an interactive launch, ISWEC also gained valuable insights and suggestions from attendees and plans to implement a few of the following, ie: involving the ministry of Tourism & Culture, creating an identity for Vietnam Spas as a destination for tourists, setting Vietnam as a trend setter for Spas, recruiting local representatives from the authorities and policy makers to provide inside and valuable information on the rules and regulations in Vietnam and finally attracting investors to assist with development of new projects.
