COSMOBEAUTE ASIA – A BEAUTY BUSINESS MEETING PLACE!

Held for its 9th edition, Cosmobeauté Asia took place at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from the 15th to 18th July, showcasing more than 320 exhibitors from across the world representing over 600 brands and products.

By constantly improving and enticing more new exhibitors, Cosmobeauté Asia resulting in more varieties of beauty product and technologies from the First-Time participants such as Jeju Province, Korea International Trade Association, Italy and Turkey exhibitors joining the current Singapore, Taiwan and Korea Pavilions. Consequently, Cosmobeauté Asia managed to attract more international groups and visits from the supporting associations and related organisations.

Not only attending the opening ceremony and launch of IPEC Bureau's Beauty Science, YBhg. Pn. Fadilah Baharin, Director General of Department of Standards Malaysia, Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation, YBhg. Dato' Azmel Bin Haji Maamor, Chairman of IPEC Bureau, YBhg. Datuk Dr. Marimuthu Nadason, the NGO-Malaysian Association of Standards Users and representatives from the government had a detour throughout the exhibition on the first day.

It was our great pleasure to have Ms Adeline Quek, IE Singapore Centre Director to pay a visit to Cosmobeauté Asia 2013 meeting the 44 exhibiting companies from Singapore under Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) Singapore Pavilion in a total of 800 sqm.

Taiwanese exhibitors who participate in Cosmobeauté Asia 2013 each year without fail seeking to expand their business to the Southeast Asia market, are visited by Lin Min-Li, Deputy Representative of Economic Affairs and Kuo Chien Hung, Third Secretary of Economic Division from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia.

On the other hand, as a new joint venture with ITE Group PLC from UK, ECMI ITE Asia Sdn Bhd has also welcomed the Chief Executive Officer of ITE Group PLC, Mr Russell Taylor to the exhibition for the very first time after a meet and greet session with Datuk Maxson Abdullah, the CEO of PWTC.
