Cosmobeaute Vietnam has kicked off the first day of exhibition yesterday with an inaugural opening ceremony happening in the morning.
Local ministries, associations’ leaders in the industry and various guests from other countries were first thrilled with the Body Painting Art Show put on stage by Linh Chi Beauty Academy. Among the distinguished guests who were present are Bà Phan Thị Thanh Minh – The Director General of Agency for Southern Affair – Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam; Bà Bùi Thị Thanh An – Deputy General Director of Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade; Bà Nguyễn Việt Hồng – Member of General Presidium, the Head of South – Vietnam Women’s Union; Ông Bùi Đức Phong – The Deputy Director – Department of Health Inspector – Ministry of Health; Dr Lê Hành – President of the HCMC Plastic Surgery Association; Mr Lubos Marek – Director of CZECH TRADE; Puan Faridah Ahmad Fadzil – President of the Malaysian Association of Wellness and Spa (MAWSPA), Mr. Kim Deak-Seong – Chairman of the Korea Beauty Industry Society (KOBIS) and Ms. Cecilia Tham – Representative of Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF).
The opening ceremony was started with the opening speech by Mr Cp Saw, the Managing Director of ECMI Trade Fairs S.E.A. Sdn Bhd (the organizer of Cosmobeaute Vietnam), followed by welcome speeches from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam as well as Ministry of Health.
“Cosmobeaute Vietnam 2013 is the continuation of the previous 5 consecutive exhibitions since 2008. Cosmobeaute has provided a platform for frequent and active technology transfer and experience exchange between Vietnamese and international companies in the cosmetics, beauty and health industry. As a result, Vietnamese consumers have more and more opportunities to enjoy diverse and high quality products and services provided by prestigious brands from all over the world,” says Ông Bùi Đức Phong – The Deputy Director – Department of Health Inspector – Ministry of Health. He added The Ministry has endorsed14.800 cosmetics products of 236 manufacturers and 552 traders to be available in Vietnam market, encourages domestics enterprise to provide care and beauty services, which plays a significant role in improving health, beauty and quality of life for the people.
Ribbon cutting went smooth on stage officiating the exhibition and followed by a thorough hall visit by all the VIPs.
